How to Use a Nasal Spray

Before you start
Wash your hands thoroughly.
STEP 1
Shake the bottle
Gently shake the nasal spray before use.
STEP 2
Prime the spray
Remove the cap and press the pump a few times (away from your face) until a fine mist appears. This ensures proper dosing.
STEP 3
Clear your nose
Blow your nose gently to clear both nostrils.
STEP 4
Position correctly (Aim)
Insert the nozzle into one nostril. Aim slightly away from the center (nasal septum) to avoid irritation.
STEP 5
Spray and breathe
Press the pump once. At the same time, breathe in gently through your nose. Breathe out through your mouth.
STEP 6
Repeat on the other side
Use the spray in the other nostril if required.
Quick Tips
- Do not sniff too hard — gentle breathing is enough.
- Avoid spraying directly onto the nasal septum (the middle part of your nose).
- Clean the nozzle after use and replace the cap.
